The General wishes me to say to you that all of the details for which you have asked have been made, except for the two Qr. Mrs.. Of the application for these he has not yet heard. He also wishes you to recommend some person for Supt. and Instructor of the Govt. School at Fortress Monroe in the place of Mr Raymond.

Genl Ord will soon be relieved from Command of the Dept. of Va., and a man will be placed there who will work well with you - This is sub rosa.
