GENERAL ORDERS, 
No. 49. 
   
1. Officers of the Quartermaster's Department will furnish supplies of Quartermaster's Stores, means of Transportation, Buildings, Storage, &c., to Officers of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen only as requisitions which have been approved by the Commissioner of the Bureau, and then submitted to the Secretary of War, for his orders thereon.
