Colonel:
Mrs. Caroline Greene, Col,d, states that her son "James," aged 15 years- is with a Dr. Crockett, at or near Wytheville, Va & her daughter "Charlotte," is supposed to be with Harmon Newbury, in Bland Co, Virginia.-

Mrs. Green, wishes an order - in accordance with Gen. Orders No, 102, War Dept. A.G.O. (a copy of which is herewith enclosed) upon the Commanding Officer at Lynchburg Va for assistance - & protection, in securing possession of her children.-
