Colonel:
I have the honor to request that authority be given me to sell at Public Auction, all the crops on the different farms located within the bounds of my Dist. Also to dispose of the Houses or Cabins belonging to the Bureau situated on these farms at the same sale. This seems to be the best way to dispose of the interest of the Bureau in turning over the farms, and I think will bring the best revenue to the Govt.
