compensation for laborers:
A sum not exceeding five dollars, including rations a month till the end of the year, for men.
A summed not exceeding two dollars ($2.) a month to the end of the year, for women & boys under eighteen years of age.
The above prices to be removable at the end of the year on the faithful discharge of duty-till that time
(2) Resolved. We recommend that a laborer be employed except he produces a satisfactory certificate of character from the last employer.
