now being treated 226 men — This Hospital was yesterday releived from a former crowded condition by sending 132 Patients to the general Hospital at Fortress Monroe; and, is likely to be very soon filled to its full capacity by daily additions from the Regt'l Hospitals of the Corps. — 22 detailed men are also here accommodated. This Hospital Dept. on being occupied by our troops was very nearly bare of furniture but has since been supplied with about 300 bunks from other Captured Barracks.

This Camp contains in addition 8 large and 3 small buildings occupied by whites & blacks, who go and come at pleasure and are, I learn partly subsisted by the Government Two of
