There are also 4 buildings at this Camp used by the 20th N.Y.S.M. as Reg't Hospital.
Camp Chimborazo contains 80 Barracks occupied by 806 Blacks and 98 Whites; also, by a detacht. of 116 men of the 14th U.S. Infty acting as guard. There were 9 other buildings here, 6 of which have been torn down and removed; and 3 used for repairing those still standing. There are here 6 Barracks, fit for occupation, now vacant. I was informed that of the Citizen Whites in this Camp over 60 are being subsisted by the Government while all the blacks subsist themselves.
