Respectfully returned to Capt Crandon Supt 4th Dist, It is impossible to find houses for these people, unles I turn them on the road they cannot be gotten off at present, I have arranged with Mr Wickham who is agent for all within Farms to allow them to remain until I can find persons to employ them, they were all Slaves on the farms and have brought Suit against Wickham for Service as Freed men, He does not wish to turn them out until they get places to go to
