It is presumable that the Richmond district from the numerous facilities it affords for printing and obtaining supplies, is thoroughly organized not only as to books papers etc but in printed forms
I am not authorized to get printing done here and I would ask to be furnished with sufficient of these books and forms used by Supdt Merrill to transact the business of my District.
So far Genl Gregg has ordered all printing done
But I would much prefer to be furnished with all necessary supplies direct from yourself or subordinate officer
