Reports he has been unable to Saml. White and Dr. F. Powers, will write to them. Mr. Stafford G. Cook is willing to rent his land in "one year leases," at $8.00 per year, with possession of the houses, 300 is number at the end of the year. if a store or mechanic's shop should started the rent would be advanced. E.C. Darlington has about 150 houses and family on his farm all of which he is desirous to get rid of, and notification to quit has been given.
