My Asst. Supts. also, continue to call upon me, their stock of the same being entirely out.  Also, they complain because they cannot procure horses, there being none in the dist. fit for their purpose, and business in distant parts of their sub-districts is neglected or delayed from want of means to proceed to the required place.  Is there no way by which we can obtain horses?
