Dear Sir We are men of color  Desire to attend to our Sick and Burry our dead  We perpose to Have aprons as a Signal of our Society and Did not Desire to Perform such Without your Permission  therefore We a Body of men met on Sunday last and have agreed to ask your Protection in so doing. We also Present you one of our aprons So as you may see and Exammine it and See if it is a greable  the name of this society is the united sons of love
