Maxey to the end of the year. She has recently made a written agreement with said Maxey to rent the plantation to him for the year 1866, and to give him complete possession of the whole of it, except the Houses & premises which she occupies, and particularly that two of the elder sons of Edwin Harrison now on the land, should be removed from it. She declares that she wishes said Maxey to rent the land on the terms she has agreed to and that neither Edwin Harrison nor his said sons should interfere so as to prevent the execution of the agreement.

Frankey Miles made no complaint that said Maxey, as her agent, had done or was doing any thing contrary to her wishes. and as far as we are informed, he has done nothing, in killing hogs &c, than as her Manager it was his business to do.

We are of opinion that it would be wrong to permit the said Edwin Harrison to exercise any control over the plantation or affairs of Frankey Miles,
As we think he has no right to do; and that such control would be injurious to her interests if permitted --

Respectfully submitted
