should as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued.

V. The Head Quarters of the Sixth District Bureau R. F. and A. L. will, upon the receipt of this order, be removed from Stanton to Winchester. Captain How will notify the Several military Commanders of the different parts of his District of this change of his Head Quarters.

VI. The Superintendent of the first District is hereby directed to allow Mr John R. Sudlow, Norfolk Va., possession of his property in Norfolk Va., pending the decision of his case in the U.S. Dist. Court taking proper security for the payments of the rent, should the decision be adverse to him.

Possession to be given at the expiration of the present lease of the property.

I  So far as any Jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Sidney S. Nicholas and wife, consisting of a piece of land, containing one-hundred & fifteen 65/100 acres, and is a part of what is known as the Bloomfield tract, situated in Elizabeth City County and bound on the North by branch of Back River

on the South by the County roads, on the East by the land of Robert S. Hudgins, on the West by the land of John Moore,is restored to them with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Circular No 3, War Dept. Bureau R.F. and A.L. May 22nd 1865, and upon the following conditions- viz:

1st  The property will be turned over to Sidney S. Nicholas and wife, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties if any exists

2nd  That nothing in this order be construed as entitling them to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may hae accrued.

II  So far as any Jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Patrick H. Cooke, consisting of twenty-two (22) acres of land, situated in Norfolk COunty Va. is restored to him with all rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Circular No 3 War Department, Bureau R.F. and A.L. and upon the following conditions viz:

1st   The property will be turned over to Patrick H. Cooke, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties if any exists

2nd  That nothing in this order be construed as entitling them to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued.
