In deciding the amount of rent to be given to owners of Lands that have been held by the Bureau, as abandoned, [[strikethrough]] you [[/strikethrough]] will, in Cases, where the owner is not a subject of Executive Pardon, allow rent from the date on which the owner subscribed to the Amnesty Oath, under the Presidents proclamation of May 29th 1865. In Cases where rents of property, have been paid into the Bureau in money, [[strikethrough]] you [[/strikethrough]] they will not pay it over to the owner, without, an Order from these Head Quarters.

I....So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of John W. Moore, consisting of a tract of land situated in Princess Ann Co. Va., with all personal property, is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Par. 8. Cir. No. 15 C.S. War Dept Bureau R.F. & A.L. and upon the following conditions Viz:
1st The property will be turned over to John W. Moore, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties if any exists.
2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property, or rents which may have accrued.

II....So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of W.A. Lowell consisting of a house and a lot situated on Church Street in the City of Norfolk Va, is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership, upon the following conditions. Viz.
1st The property will be turned over to W.A. Lowell upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties, if any exists.
2nd That nothing in this order be construed, as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property, or rents which may have accrued.
