I...2nd Lt James Drysdale, 7th V.R.C. is hereby relieved from duty in the 1st Dist. Bureau R.F. & A.L. and will proceed to Hicksford, Greenville Co, Va, and assume the duties of Asst. Supt. of said Co, reporting on his arrival, by letter, to Capt. Stuart Barnes, A.Q.M. & Supt. Petersburg, Va.

I...The following named officers having reported in compliance with Par. 1, S.C. 40, C.S. War Dept. Bureau R.F. & A.L. are hereby ordered to report in person, without delay, to Bvt. Maj. W.S. How, Supt, 6th Dist, Winchester, Va, for duty to relieve John H. McKenzie, Civilian Asst. Supt. 

1st Lt. George F Cooke, 24th V.R.C.

II...Lt. Louis Abrams, 2nd. Regt. V.R.C. is hereby relieved from duty in the 2nd Dist, Bureau R.F. & A.L, State of Va, and will report to Maj. Genl. O. O. Howard, Commissioner &c, Washington, D.C. for further orders.

III...The following named officers, having reported in compliance with Par. 1, S.O. 40, War Dept, Bureau R.F. & A.L, are hereby ordered to report in person, without delay to Capt Stuart Barnes, A.Q.M. & Supt, Petersburg, Va, for assignment to duty.

IV...So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Thomas C. Russell, deceased, consisting of a tract of land, situated in the County of York, Va, is restored to William H. Russell, and the other heirs, with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirement of Par. 8, Cir. 15, War Department, Bureau R.F. and A.L, Series 1865, and upon the following conditions, Viz:

1st The property will be restored to William H. Russell and the other heirs, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties, if any exists. 

2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling them to compensation for damages to the property, or to rents which may have accrued.
