II. Captain James A. Bates, 43rd Infantry Bvt Lt Col: U.S.A. will after transferring the property for which he is accountable, proceed to join his Regiment in the Department of the Lakes in compliance with par. 14. S.O. 460 C.S. Hard Qrs: of the Army Adjutant Generals Office.-

III.. So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Mr. J.W. Shackleford.. consisting of a lot of land with building thereon, situated at West Point King Wm. County, Va, is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership upon the following conditions viz:

1st The property will be restored to Mr. J.W. Shackleford upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties if any exists.-

2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued.-
