I.. E.A. Chandler, is hereby relieved from duty in this Bureau, as Officer in charge of the 6th Division, 5th Sub. Dist., Va., (comprising the Counties of Matthews and Gloucester), and will turn over to his successor Thomas J. Rice, all books and papers relative to Bureau affairs in the above named Division ._

(comprising the Counties of Matthews and Gloucester) with his Head Quarters at Matthews C.H, Va. relieving E.A. Chandler, from whom he will receive all books and papers relating to Bureau affairs in the above named Division._

Mr. Rice will report, by letter, to S.C. Armstrong, S.A. Comr, 5th S. Dist, Va. at Fort Monroe, Va. for further instructions_
