I. . Leave of absence for ten (10) days is hereby granted Thos. J. Rice, A.S.A.C., 6. Div. %. Sub. Dist. Va, to go beyond the limits of this District.

II. Lieut. L.A. Nesmith, 12. U.S. Infty, having reported to these Head Quarters in compliance with S.O. No. 62, Par. 1, C.S. War Dept., Bur. R.F. & A.L., is hereby assigned to duty as Asst Sub. Asst Comr., 7. Div., 7. Sub. Dist, and will establish his Head Quarters, without delay, at Amherst Court House, Amherst Co. Va. All Bureau records, pertaining to these counties, will be transferred by the A.S.A. Comr. of the 1st Div. to Lieut. Nesmith.

I. .  Andrew Washburn, Inspector of Schools Dist, of Va., will proceed, without unnecessary delay, to the 2nd and 7th Sub. Districts, Dist. of Va., and make an inspection of the Freedmen's Schools in those Districts. On the completion of this duty, he will return to his proper station.

II. . R.M. Manly, Supt. of Schools, Dist. of Va., will proceed, without delay, to Charlottesville, Va., and make an inspection of the Freedmen's Schools at that place. On the completion of this duty, he will return to his proper station.
