I. In compliance with the requirements of Par 2, S.O. 50, C.S. Head Qrs of the Army, A.G.O, Bvt: Major E. S. Ewing, 1st Lieut. 34th Inf:, is hereby relieved from duty as Asst: Superintendent of Schools, 2d Educational Sub: Dist, Bureau R.F & A.L, Dist: of Va, and will forward all books and papers in his possession, belonging to this Bureau, to these Head Quarters. The Disbursing officer will send instructions as to disposal of property. Major Ewing will also instruct all teachers within his Sub: District, hereafter to forward their monthly reports to R. M. Manly, Asst: Supt, of Schools, Bureau R.F. & A Lands, at Richmond, Va, and to make direct application to him for all necessary blanks.

On completion of above instructions Major Ewing will report by letter to these Head Quarters, and will proceed to obey the above named order from Head Quarters of the Army A.G.O—

I. Bvt: Major Paul. R. Hambrick, 1st Lieut: 45th U.S.I, V.R.C, is hereby relieved from duty as Assistant Superintendent of Schools, 3d Educational Sub: District, Bureau R.F and A. Lands, Dist: of Va, and assigned to duty as Inspector of Schools, with Head Quarters at Richmond, Va — He will report in person to the Asst: Commissioner for instructions. This order to take effect March 31st 1869.—

II. Bvt: Lieut: Col. S.P. Lee, Capt. 45th U.S.I, V.R.C, is hereby relieved from duty as Asst: Superintendent of Schools. 5th and 6th Educational Sub: Districts, Bureau R.F & A. Lands, Dist: of Va, and assigned to duty as Inspector of Schools, with Head Quarters at Alexandria, Va. He will report by letter to the Assistant Commissioner for instructions. This order to take effect March 31st 1869.
