Bvt. Brig. Genl. H.G. Thomas✓, Captain 20th U.S. Inf. is hereby relieved from duty as Asst. Superintendent of Schools, 8th Educational Sub. District, Bureau R.F. and A. Lands, Dist. of Va. and will report to the Commanding Officer 1st Military District, State of Va, in compliance with Par 2, S.O. 298, Hd. Qrs. of the Army A.G.O. dated December 15th 1868. This order to take effect March 31st, 1869.
