9. By direction of the President, so much of Special Orders, No. 112, Paragraph .10, March 13th, 1866, from this Office, as dismissed Captain Lemuel Jeffries, 20th Regiment Veteran Reserve Corps, is hereby revoked, (the same having been based on an erroneous charge made by Captain A. S. Flagg, Assistant Quartermaster of Volunteers, Superintendent Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, 1st District, Virginia, since fully retracted by that officer,) and he is restored to his rank, and to his duties in the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, as of the date of dismissal.
