Richmond, Va., December 26th 1866.

Special Orders.

A.A. Surgeon Thomas Turner will close his Office as in charge of Freedmen in Quarters at Front Royal Va. on the 30" of Dec. or as soon thereafter, as this order may reach him, and promptly report to Captain Mac.Donald; Superintendent of the 9" District, Bureau R.F and A. Lands. for duty among Freedmen in Quarters at and in the region of Harpers Ferry Va. He will report to me the date of his leaving Front Royal and of his arrival at Harpers Ferry.
