45. Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands Office Surgeon in Chief, Department of the Potomac. Richmond, Va., December 13th 1866 Special Orders. A.A. Surg. W. H. Gray U.S.A. in charge of Freedmen in Quarters and Hospital at Yorktown Va. is hereby relieved from said charge, and will report in person to Surgeon J. J. De Lamater Surg. in Chf. Bureau R.F. and A. Lands, Dept of the Potomac at Richmond Va. Previous to doing so he will turn over to A.A. Surgeon Granville M. Baker who relieves him all medicines, Hospital property &c. in his hands /signed/ J J De Lamater Surg. US vols. Surg. in Chf. Bureau &c Dept. of the Potomac.
