5.  By direction of the Secretary of War, the following officers of the Veteran Reserve Corps are hereby mustered out and honorably discharged the service of the United States, to take effect January 1st, 1868, on account of their services being no longer required. They will receive no final payments, until they shall have satisfied the Pay Department that they are not indebted to the Government:—

Brevet Captain Jacob C. Brubaker, 1st Lieutenant, 10th regiment. stationed in West Va; muster out thro' Asst Com'r for D. C
1st Lieutenant E. A. Chandler, 10th regiment.
Brevet Captain Sidney B. Smith, 1st Lieutenant, 12th regiment.
