A.A Surg. F. Lessing USA. in charge of Freedmen in Hospital and Quarters at Norfolk and Portsmouth Va. on being relieved by A.A. Surg Robt. N. Atwood who is assigned to this duty, will turn over to him, all Medical Hospital and Bureau property in his possession.
Having done so he will promptly report at Gordonsville Va. to Major Morse, Supt. Bureau R.F. and A. Lands, for the charge of Freedmen in Hospital and Quarters at that station and Surroundings, relieving A.A Surg. Gray USA. who is temporarily discharging this duty. On relieving A.A. Surg Gray. A.A Surg Lessing will receipt for the Medical and Hospital property left unaccounted for by the late A.A. Surg. Chas. C. Greene, and for which invoices have been made out by a "Board of Survey" appointed for that purpose, which invoices now await his signature. and are in the hands of Maj Morse Supt of the Bureau.
