Circular

Hereafter each A.A. Surg. USA. on duty with the Bureau R.F. and A. Lands Dept of Potomac will forward punctually on the last day of the month to my Office Monthly reports of station and duty in triplicate: One copy will be addressed to Col. L. A. Edwards Surg. USA. Chf. Med. Offr. Bureau RF &c at Washington: one copy will be addressed to Bvt. Brig. Genl. O. Brown A.A.A. Genl. Dept Potomac Bureau and the remaining one to my Office.

These reports will be prepared with neatness, and properly folded and endorsed as the regulations require. They will give accurate statements on the points which follow. viz:- Station during the month (if at two different stations during the month, the fact will be stated.) Duties during the month (all included.) Present or absent during the month or part of the month. If absent by what authority, including a copy of the order allowing absence. With whom contract was made, date of the same and showing compensation. By whose orders assigned to duty and date of order. If station is changed during the month, the authority for changing and date of same. Also Post Office address.
