4.  A.A. Surg. W. A. Nason U.S.A. is hereby assigned to duty among Freedmen in Hospital and Quarters at Gordonsville. He will receive from A.A. Surg. W. H. Gray U.S.A. now in charge, all Official circulars and orders pertaining to the proper discharge of duty, in his hands and will receipt to him in triplicate for the Officers Manual, for which A.A. Surg. Gray is responsible. He will receipt for the invoice of Bureau and Medical property, made by a board of Survey, appointed for that purpose, of property for which the late A.A. Surg. Chas. G. Greene U.S.A. was accountable, which said invoice is now in the hands of Major Morse Supt. of the Dist. Bureau R.F and A. Lands: awaiting a receipt from an Officer permanently assigned to duty._

A.A. Surg. Nason will confer, with A.A. Surg Gray before he leaves in regard to the duties of his position so far as is necessary to ensure a correct discharge of them in all respects._
