Copy Bureau Refugees Freedmen and A. Lands Office Superintendent 6th District, Va. Fredericksburg, Va. January 28, 1867. Circular No. 2. Asst. Superintendents of the 6th District, Va., will furnish these Head Quars with the following information in regard to Freedmen within their respective Sub. Dists., Viz, - 1st. Names of all Deaf, Dumb or Blind Negroes. 2nd. Residence or present whereabouts. 3rd. Condition. 4th. Age and Sex. 5th. Whether Deaf, Dumb or Blind. 6th. Occupation 7th. Under whose charge and care. The reports to be forwarded with as little delay as possible, in order that I may comply with instructions from Brevet Maj. Genl. J.M. Schofield, Asst. Commissioner of B.R.F. and A.L.
