1.  By direction of the Secretary of War, the following officers of the Veteran Reserve Corps are hereby mustered out and honorably discharged the service of the United States, on account of their services being no longer required, with condition that they shall receive no final payments until they have satisfied the Pay Department that they are not indebted to the Government:-

Brevet Major James H. Remington, Captain, 1st Regiment.
