2.  By direction of the Secretary of War, Brevet Major E. S. Ewing, 1st Lieutenant, 34th U. S. Infantry, is hereby detailed for duty in the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, and will report to the Assistant Commissioner of the Bureau for the State of Virginia, for assignment.
