WAR DEPARTMENT, Bureau of Refugees, Freedom, and Abandoned Lands, Washington, May 16, 1868. SPECIAL ORDERS No 62. Extract. Paragraph II. Special Orders No. 58. C.S. from this Bureau office, directing Lieut. L. A. Nesmith, 12th Ne. S. Supply, to report in person to the Asst. Commissioner of Louisiana, is hereby revoked. Lieut. Nesmith will proceed to Richmond Virginia, reporting in person upon his arrival to General O. Brown, Asst. Commissioner, for temporary duty.
