In charge of Howard Grove Hospital Richmond Va

Doctor

You will see that the Medical Officers including Students doing duty at the Hospital, discharge their duties faithfully, and are on duty at all times unless absent with your consent.  Any irregularities on their part will receive prompt attention, and it of a character to bring odium on the Hospital Dr Brower will discharge them at once, and report to me immediately the reasons for his action.  There Medical Officers, and Students, are under the order of Dr Brower and will be on duty at all times unless absent by his permission.
