Two or three weeks after she sent me That one, young Mr Weide had her arrest for burning his barn, and then the Other boy runaway and come to me But I did not have h im apprenticed Because I did not want him he is too much like his mother, though he stayed with me all last year and their Mother was perfectly satisfied and Come to se them when ever she wanted too, My mother spun & wove their clothing and kept them in good Clothes, during last year She married her Step father. and not until the first of this year did she try to take her children back; I would not give them up and about the first of last April They left me and went to her I did not get them back until verry recently She cannot support her children Mr Moncure, the man with whom she is Living this year told me when I went after the children that one of her children was taken down With (billeous) fever, and came verry Near dying for want of medical Attion. he sent for a (Dr). he came And asked him if he would be Responsible for the bill he told him He would not so he went back without doing anny thing for the child, those are facts that I can testifie to and prove) But to the children now in question, they are with their Mother they left my house on the 5th Last Tuesday. I did not follow Them, but have con[[?]]ed to Let them go and have no more To do with them as they have Become dissatisfied to Stay.
