The second sale which was to John Akin, Henrys step son an George Jenkins & Jim  -  freedmen for wages.  The said Wells came to the conclusion that there was fraud at the bottom of the whole transaction, and sued out an attachment and had the moss attached returnable to the County but in Nov. last, at which time neither of the parties appeared to claim the property and as a matter of course judgement was entered by default.

I have stated all the facts as far as I know  You will please write to me so I may know whether you receive this or not.  I do not know how to proceed further without instructions you will advise me if you wish me to take any farther notice of the case.
