Miss. 1868 Applies for transportation for a Colored girl named Nancy Jones, for Memphis Tenn. for the purpose of joining her mother from whom she has been separated since 1863. States also that the girl is willing to work but cannot get Employment and is not able to pay her fare to the above named place. B.R.F and A.L. for State of Miss with the information that the within application is in Every respect a fit and proper person for assisting and if transfer action is furnished to Colored persons at all this case is one deserving Consideration Charles A.
