Dear Sir, 
The freedman Henry Henderson visits you for the purpose of effecting a settlement with one D.O. Sullivan with whom he farmed last year. Sullivan has managed to get most of the cotton in his hands and has shipped it to N.O. We [[strikethrough]] have [[/strikethrough]] furnished the said Henderson supplies to make his crop on. Sullivan himself is indebted  to us for Bagging ties &c, to defraud out of and Henderson.

You will confer a favor on us if you can
