A CONVOCATION OF AMERICAN INDIAN SCHOLARS

The American Indian Historical Society is planning a Convocation of American Indian Scholars, March 23-26, 1970, Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University.
Purpose of this event is to demonstrate the leadership NOW existing in all areas of scholar-ship among American Indians. The Convocation will discuss such matters as educational oppor-tunity, research projects, publication of books and studies by Indian scholars, scholarship aid, and promotion of active help to those desiring to enter professional work.
American Indians who are teachers, profes-sors, attorneys, doctors, writers, anthropologists, historians, educators, social scientists, are asked to contact the Society immediately for further information on this event-the first of its kind in American history.
Invitations will be issued to participate as observers or consultants to those scholars who are not Indians, upon request.
