Brumsic Brandon, Jr. is author, cartoonist and creator of the comic strip "Luther" which appears in the Washington Post and other papers. He is a Contributing Editor of FREEDOMWAYS whose cartoons appear here for the ninth consecutive fourth quarter.

Alice Walker is poet, novelist and essayist. Her novel, The Third Life of Grange Copeland was recently reviewed in FREEDOMWAYS.

Eugene Perkins is a Chicago poet whose work is well known.

Vernon-Turner Kitabu is Senior Editor of Etcetera magazine published in Brooklyn, N.Y.
