Destitute & Infirm Freedmen.

The numbers of the above have fell off considerable during the past month, and are still decreasing. children are being claimed by their parents and old people are going to the homes their Sons and daughters have prepared for them.

Miscellaneous.

Employers are expecting to raise a large crop this year and from present indications I think they will succeed. in this respect I would state that if the freedmen are properly paid and fed they work excellently
