5   The Sergeon in charge attends to all necessary duty, in Camp 8 Quarter and one officer can at present do so  Freedmen here in Camp are in good sanitary condition.

Quite a large Camp of Freedmen existing here it was found necessary to Station a medical officer & open a Hospital one is now running in good condition sufficient in accomodations for the present and which can be enlarged readily to meet all demands
Patients needing Hospital attention are sent from Danville to this Hospital  The Camp is in good Sanitary condition
