12 Yorktown No regular Hospital arrangement has been completed up to the present time at this place. Accommodations have existed a long time for a limited number of persons who could not otherwise be provided for - twelve beds (12) being [[strikethrough]] been [[/strikethrough]] placed for that purpose. They have been sufficient to meet necessities. As there are a large number of Freedmen in the immediate region of that place, it may be necessary to establish a regular Hospital here, of larger capacity - but it is still hoped that the necessity will not occur. One Medical Officer does all the required duty at this station and around it, I do not now anticipate a demand for a second. The many thousands of Refugee Freedmen in this District have been there so long that most of them are provided with some kind
