I have the honor to give herewith the report required in your Circular No. 6, dated Richmond Va Jany 29, 1866 for the Month of March 1866.  Up to this date every thing get along very well every colored male or female person able to work has git his place and is working, and when frequently one get out of labor.  Three or more farmers are willing to hire them.  With father or Mother are also for the Children taken care of.  The feeling is rather beter as one month ago between whites and freedmen, with a few exception it is about no trouble in this Sub District at all.  One thing is certain that allmost all the White Citizens are oposed to provision providing for freedmans School, by some it is prejudice, by others it is, thy wanted their servant Children to do some work, in Concequence they are unwilling  to send them to school, and befor white people has free School.
