report was sent to this office, but since March 23d there has been treated forty five cases in Portsmouth and thirty in Norfolk, including those who were in the hospitals at that time, making in all Seventy five cases.
   I would call the attention of the Bureau to the "Eureka Land Association."  Dr. Bayne, a highly respectable and highly intelligent colred citizen, is the President, and founder, and his efforts have thus far been crowned with success.  About thirty acres of land have been purchased, and twenty five or more houses have been erected.  About an acre of land is allowed for each house, and the land seems well cultivated.
