T. 107

I am of the opinion that there are many portions of the south. which is more disloyal than this . and I imagine there is few counties in Virginia more quiet than this. not withstanding the disloyal feelings of the people.

During the month of March the Bureau in this Co. has been more than self sustaining. a sufficient amount was accumulated this month to pay some of the unpaid bills of last month and a small amount to turn in.

I am occupying one room for an office. Which is the property R.E. Thornton Esqr. and for which I pay $5.00 per month rent.

I have the honor to be Captain
Your most obedient servant
J.M. Tracy Capt. & Asst. Supt
