Having been on leave, absent for 12 days some parts of my duty necessarily have sufered delaying, which all will be made up within of a short time. A report about the burring places of union Soldiers, will be forwarded with the next mail. and a register of the married colored people as called for in Circular No. 11 dated Hd. Qtr. Asst. Commr. Va. Richmond Va. March 19th 1866. will be furnished during the Month of May.

In the School. Matter being not verry successful, I am unable to promise any thing at all. An old Church the only house of this place, empty and of any possibility to be rented. I did not suceed in getting the same. I allmost are compelled to abadon the project providing for a freedmens School, except it would be don with great expences; in repairing a have destroyed or getting up a new Building.
