Freedmens cause in every case.
The Overseers of the Poor in three Counties have all signified their willingness to provide for the support of the pauper Freedmen as soon as it is, in their power, to do so in the same manner as the whites are provided for which will not be for some months to come as the Parish Levy is not laid until the June Term of the county court.
