In obedience to Circular No 6. dated Richmond Va-January 29" 1866-I have the honor to report through your office to the Head Qrs. of the Asst Commissioner- that the change in Bureau Affairs-in this Sub Dist-So far as relates to the conduct- and feeling existing between the whites- and Freedmen from previous reports as unimportant. 
They are generally at work-and showing a commendable desire to better their condition. No caces of Small Pox have been reported. The Hospital is still rendering valuable Service- And extending Medical Aid to all that can be reached. 
The desire for Education is unabated- as there has been no decrease in the number of pupils attending School. There will be an increas in the demand for rations-owing to the fact that the
