The Freedmen place great confidence in the Bureau and say openly, that it is their whole dependance for justice, and that if it was removed, that they would have no one to protect them, in their rights 

There has been no application for Rations for Destitute and Suffering white citizens in this Sub-Dist although ample notice has been given for all such to apply at the office of the Asst Supt. B.R.F. & A.L. for help.
