Reports in obedience to Circular No 6 Hd Qrs Asst Commissioner state of Virginia dated January, 29th., 1866. the state of feeling existing between freedmen and their late owners is not as cordial as it was some Months ago.

The freedmen are working well as a general rule, and have established several evening schools with Teachers from among themselves.
